Original art draw + The long hard road to completion.

As you all know we're behind. Really behind. Obviously. We were VERY optimistic about the time it would take to get this story down and move into production, so we had some pretty big delays right out of the gate. That being said, we are 100% committed to this. Myself, I am working all day, every day on this making it the best it can be. Researching, drawing, inking, colouring, lettering, repeat! This is my world and I love it, so thanks to everyone for the gift of being able to do this.
It's impossible to give an exact completion date because I'm afraid we'll just miss it. It's much safer just to keep our heads down working away, and surface for air once in a while to check in with our amazing backers. Again, thank you for your patience. And don't worry, you will get plenty of notification as we approach this finish line. If you have changed you address or anything, don't worry, you can update that on your profile.
Also, I thought it would be cool to do some original art draws for everyone. This will be a regular thing until we are done. Least I can do. If you are interested in entering, please sign up to the link below:
The first draw will be at the end of this month using a random number generator and will be for the following piece of art from Hannibal:
Thanks again for your patience!
In Search of Hannibal - update, trailer, and answers to frequent questions

Time for an update regarding In Search of Hannibal. As December is fast approaching, you may be asking yourself when you can expect to get your copy. Well, we have to be upfront and let you all know that the book is unfortunately behind schedule and late for 2 reasons.
1. It's a lot more work on the research / writing / script front then expected. In Search of Hannibal really is an expedition into the past and one must painstakingly uncover the past in order to inform the script, and still have an engaging character-driven story. Not an easy task.
2. The art is a lot more work as well. Chris completes the pages as he receives finished chunks of script. His art however, is incredibly detailed. (Massive armies, anyone?) This is of course taking some extra time as well.
Yes, we underestimated. However, fear not! We are very much hard at work on this. As we proceed our mantra is, "We're only going to do this once", and we insist on doing it right. The last thing we want is to do is rush something out for the sake of getting it done. Due to the support this campaign received we know that people are wanting this story told and wanting it told well. That's our prime objective.
So, when will it be done? I feel it's dangerous to give any specific date, but early 2018 for sure. I want to play it safe.
We will be giving everyone a nice big fat preview for Yule. If you'd like a preview of the preview, you can check out this video on the Smile Titans channel:
Chris also will be doing more livestreams coming up, so be sure and subscribe to the Smile Titans YouTube channel.
Now to answer some frequent questions:
Changing your address?
No problem. You will all be getting an email notification BEFORE anything ships. From here, you will get instructions if you have had an address change. On our end, it's a bit tricky to do this. But, do not worry, you will have plenty of warning and clear instructions on how to do this.
Will anything be shipping before the books?
The only items that have shipped are from the first print run of the shirts. Despite the fact that we'd like to ship out everyone's recent shirt order now, we will probably have to wait until everything else goes out as well to keep costs down.
Changing your email address?
If you change your email, please go into your Kickstarter / Backerkit profile and do it there so we can stay in touch!
Can you draw something in my book?
Sorry, I can't. It's just too much! We have this amazing problem of having such great support that it means it's impossible for me to do this for everyone who asks. However, if we cross paths at a comic convention I'd be happy to do a quick drawing for you.
Can you just let me write / draw the rest of this book? You're late! Lemme finish it!
Nope, this ship has sailed and we don't want a choppy book. However, Hannibal is open source! The more historical stuff that's out there, the better.
Thank you all,
